Icefish Photo ("the app") is a native photo viewer and light editor for Mac, developed and published by Icefish Limited. We designed it to be private by default.
We do not collect your data
The app does not collect, sell, or share your personal information. It has no user accounts, advertising, third-party tracking SDKs, or analytics operated by us.
Your images stay on your Mac
Images are processed locally using Apple frameworks. Icefish Photo does not upload your images to Icefish servers and does not operate cloud sync for the app.
Files and folder access
The app reads and writes only the image files and folders you explicitly choose through standard macOS dialogs. It runs inside the App Sandbox. Folder access is used to browse nearby images and is controlled by macOS permissions.
OCR and editing
OCR results, edits, markup, clipboard copies, and exported files are handled locally on your Mac. When you choose to share or print, the selected macOS service receives the image.
In-app purchase
If you purchase the Pro lifetime unlock, Icefish Photo uses StoreKit 2 to request product information, process the one-time purchase, restore purchases, and check your entitlement with Apple. Icefish does not receive your payment card details. Apple handles the transaction under Apple’s own privacy terms.
Local preferences
The app stores limited preferences on your Mac, such as language, appearance, zoom, and editing settings. These preferences are not sent to Icefish.
Support email
If you contact us by email, we receive the information you include and use it only to respond to your support request.
Children
The app does not knowingly collect information from anyone, including children.

If this policy changes, we will update the date above and publish the revised version on this page.
